Rewind: MI:3

I have always been a fan of Thomas Mapother III. I remember watching my cousins gaga over him in Top Gun. Meron kami betamax tape nun. Nasan na kaya yun?

Then back in high school, we watched a "A few good men" for our debate class. We were supposed to spot the fallacies in the movie and right a paper about it. Hehe I almost forgot about the note taking. He looked so good in uniform with the baseball bat. To think that time I wanted to become a lawyer...but I'd always remember Jack Nicholson saying to Tom "You can't handle the truth!!!"

These days, I've forgiven the couch-hopping incident in Oprah. I've seen that episode in reruns. It wasn't the be all, end all of the interview.

Hey you can't blame him!!! The guy's head over heals in love. At the end of the show, he proudly acknowledged that Katie was in fact with him and waiting at the backstage. He then proded the audience to call Katie and went to the backstage to get Katie. The audience was on their feet, clapping and screaming her name. Grabe Katie ang haba ng buhok mo!!!

I especially like what he said about his son Connor when Oprah brought up the prospect of him being adopted. He replied point blank:"I don't care. He's my son". Also,he recently apologized to Brooke Shields on his unwanted advise on her being drug dependent.

Never mind that they led to severed ties with Paramount. Ironically, the movie, the subject of this blog, was also one of the supposed culprits of the break-up according to showbiz insiders. It didn't rake in much money as expected. Is this a testament to the adage "You are only good as your last movie"?

Hehe enough about Tom... now on the movie...
